UX Designer (Part-Time, Web3/DeFi) at Agoric

We’re also diving deep into LLM-powered AI to surface the best optimizations for users to achieve great returns.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We’re seeking an experienced Product Designer with expertise in Web3 and DeFi products to collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and marketing teams. You’ll bring strong user-centered design practices to shape the first versions of Ymax, run independent usability testing, and iteratively refine seamless DeFi user experiences at Agoric.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to design end-to-end user flows.</li> <li>Lead usability testing sessions and synthesize findings into actionable improvements.</li> <li>Translate complex DeFi opportunities into clear, approachable interactions for end-users.</li> <li>Design intuitive workflows for executing DeFi strategies involving multiple networks and protocols through a single signature, enabled by Agoric’s orchestration technology.</li> <li>Partner with the team to create AI-driven user experiences that surface intelligent optimizations for users.</li> <li>Work independently to propose and validate design solutions.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in UX design with 2+ years in crypto/Web3. DeFi-specific experience is a strong plus.</li> <li>Strong understanding of crypto wallet flows, smart contracts, and decentralized protocols.</li> <li>Experience independently planning and running usability testing.</li> <li>Excellent collaboration skills across product, engineering, and marketing teams.</li> <li>Available to work US-based hours (ET or PT) in a remote-first team environment.</li> </ul>&
