We have a passionate, loyal, and growing community, and we’re looking for people who want to help us build something truly special.</p> <p><strong>Staff Data Scientist, Growth</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join one of our cross-functional squads at Shakepay. You’ll work closely with engineering and design, while also partnering across marketing, finance, and operations to help us identify growth opportunities and make smarter decisions across the business.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys operating with high autonomy, and can turn ambiguous problems into measurable impact. You’ll combine experimentation, statistical rigor, business intuition, and product thinking to influence how we grow, retain, and better serve millions of Canadians.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with engineers and designers across our product squads to improve acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience</li> <li>Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to uncover growth opportunities and drive better business decisions</li> <li>Champion and evangelize experimentation and decision frameworks that  help us ship and iterate quickly with confidence</li> <li>Define KPIs and success metrics that  help teams stay aligned around measurable outcomes</li> <li>Use statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning techniques to better understand user behavior and business performance</
