This team builds the systems that power institutional portfolio construction, optimization, risk modeling, and systematic strategy deployment across digital assets.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The Portfolio Engineering platform integrates directly with the Talos OEMS, enabling clients to design, validate, and execute investment strategies within a unified, production-grade environment. You will contribute to core systems that require correctness, performance, and scalability.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and implement core components of the Portfolio Engineering platform, including the backtester, portfolio optimizer, rebalancer, and reporting engine.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own features end-to-end: requirements definition, technical design, implementation, testing, and documentation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop high-performance backend services primarily in Java, with supporting Python components.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to distributed, cloud-native systems deployed across AWS and GCP.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ensure systems meet production standards for reliability, scalability, and performance.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Quant, and Client teams to deliver institutional-grade solutions.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1><strong>Qualifications</stro
