Software Engineer at Jolly

We’re looking for a skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our on-site engineering team. You’ll be responsible for developing end-to-end features using modern technologies across the frontend and backend. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys building scalable, high-performance systems. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript , React , and Node.js . Develop backend services with Express , Fastify , or NestJS , and define APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger . Create dynamic UIs with React and metaframeworks like Next.js or Remix . Design and manage relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma or Sequelize . Containerize and manage applications using Docker . Collaborate in Agile (Scrum) workflows including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD and deployment pipelines. Work closely with product and design to deliver features from concept to launch. Required Qualifications Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript , both frontend and backend. Deep experience with React , and familiarity with Next.js or similar frameworks. Hands-on backend development using Node.js and related frameworks. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL . Familiar with Docker and container-based development. Experience with Agile development practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with React Native or Flutter . Exposure to AWS , CI/CD pipelines , and tools like Terraform or Kubernetes . Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog , Prometheus ) and testing frameworks. Interest in design systems and animation libraries (e.g., Framer Motion , Shadcn ). Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes) are a plus.
