As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement a variety of software systems that motivate, execute, and settle what is shaping up to be the largest transfer of wealth from the past to the future.</p> <p>We are looking for a talented software engineer that is focused and fascinated by the real time movement of price and value at wire speed across a global liquidity network of buyers and sellers.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Conceive, assemble, and deliver the financial platform that meets the trading team’s functional and non-functional requirements</li> <li>Build out our global liquidity network at scale across key financial centers worldwide</li> <li>Cultivate best practices and collaborate with engineering teams structuring applications</li> <li>Realize and promote the domain model and architecture for our trading platform</li> <li>Leverage key software systems and services from across Gemini’s portfolio of exchange, settlement, and custodian technologies</li> <li>Own projects end to end  from design through delivery  working cross-functionally with product managers and stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Golang (preferred) or equivalent back-end experience in Java, Scala, or similar; strong back-end engineers with comparable experience will be considered</li> <li>Proficiency
