About the team The Growth Squad owns the features that bring people into World App and keeps them engaged. These features include (1) User incentives (e.g., invites, rewards), (2) User Lifecycle (e.g., notification centre, onboarding, retention experiments), and (3) Growth modalities (e.g., Find an Orb and new ways to drive user growth). The Growth team sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and economics and serves millions of users daily. The Growth team is responsible for driving World’s biggest priority across the entirety of the business: reaching critical scale and driving World's north star metrics. The focus of the Munich-based team is on all things user incentives, while also working on other priorities when needed. The team is small, high-intensity, and passionate, with close collaboration with colleagues in San Francisco.
