Job Description
About Helius Helius is building the core infrastructure for Solana - empowering developers to create the next generation of crypto-powered applications. Our mission is to accelerate the development of internet capital markets by making it easier, faster, and more intuitive to build on-chain. Thousands of teams - from early-stage startups to industry leaders like Coinbase, Phantom, and Jupiter - rely on Helius APIs, webhooks, and indexing tools to power their products. Backed by Haun Ventures, Founders Fund, and Foundation Capital, we’re a small, senior team obsessed with performance, simplicity, and scalability in decentralized systems. Read our Helius Manifesto to see how we work and what we value. About the Role This is a senior product role at Helius - you'll own product across our entire data platform: real-time streaming (LaserStream), historical and archival data, RPC infrastructure, APIs, webhooks, and developer tooling. Our customers are engineers at trading firms, wallets, and data platforms, and the product decisions that matter to them are latency budgets, delivery guarantees, and API ergonomics. Our best engineers make product decisions, and we expect our PM to return the favor. You should write enough code to use our products the way customers do - prototype an idea, reproduce a bug, contribute when it's the fastest path to shipping. You won't ship production systems, but you should never need someone to show you what our APIs feel like to build against. The engineering problems are hard: throughput, fan-out, ordering, historical replay. The product problems are harder to see: which guarantees to promise, what a firehose should cost, how to make a powerful primitive easy to adopt. Your job is making the platform cohere - one roadmap, one pricing logic, one developer experience. You'll be embedded with engineering, in the room on enterprise deals, and constantly in front of customers. This product has real traction and real revenue. You're not building from zero - you're deciding where it goes next. What You'll Do Own the product roadmap across the Helius developer platform, balancing customer requests, infrastructure investments, and new product bets Spend real time with customers - trading firms, wallets, indexers - understanding their architectures, latency budgets, and where our products fit or fall short Use our products hands-on and make code contributions where they're the fastest path: prototypes, example integrations, reproducing customer issues, and improving developer-facing tooling Track the competitive landscape closely (streaming providers, data API vendors) and translate it into positioning, pricing, and build/kill decisions Define product guarantees: delivery semantics, ordering, SLAs, and the trade-offs we're willing to make between performance, cost, and simplicity Write specs and decision memos that give staff-level engineers clear context without prescribing implementation Own pricing and packaging across the platf
