Senior Engineer - Trading Desk at CoinHako

<p style="min-height:1.5em">We are looking for a <strong>Senior Backend Engineer</strong> to join our and support our Trading Desk Team at Coinhako.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance tooling that power our internal Trading team. You’ll also be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems, optimize transaction workflows, and enhance trading reliability, scalability and operationally.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools that support Coinhako’s Trading Desk operations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, trading venues, and internal systems using REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX where applicable.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Improve the reliability, scalability, latency, and observability of internal trading systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Automate manual trading operations and reduce operational risk through better tooling and system design.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in all phases of the development life cycle such as developing, code review, testing, and debugging.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Minimum 5-6 years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer in designing and building Trading systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong background in Python or Go, knowledge in C++ will be an advantage.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket, and FIX connectivity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with the trade lifecycle, financial products, trading venues, risk controls, and execution workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building trading infrastructure such as order management, execution, market data, risk, reconciliation, or post-trade workflows.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exposure to low-latency, high-throughput, or high-frequency trading systems is a strong advantage.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with cloud and infrastructure tooling such as AWS, Docker, and Terraform.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrate a collaborative attitude with a bias toward action.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working in Cryptocurrency/Blockch
