This individual will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><strong>Contract to hire: 6 month contract&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close.</li> <li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports.</li> <li>Manage multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange transactions</li> <li>Coordinate month-end and year end across international subsidiaries</li> <li>Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations</li> <li>Support the preparation of schedules for external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.</li> <li>Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX (if applicable).</li> <li>Work closely with AP, AR, FP&amp;A, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.</li> <li>Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and process automation efforts.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><stro
