<h2>Role Roadmap</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kalshi Trading is an affiliated trading entity that operates across all different categories on Kalshi. We are looking for traders who are either exceptional in their particular niche, or good generalists able to quickly learn how to trade completely new topics as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least a few of the following items:<br></span></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Engineering: </strong>
<ul>
<li>building and deploying autonomous systems, especially trading systems</li>
<li>low latency programming for trading applications</li>
<li>setting up automated data pipelines and ingesting datasets from a variety of fields</li>
<li>infrastructure management (AWS stack, SQL databases)</li>
<li>accurate bookkeeping or other financial operations experience</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Modeling:</strong><br>
<ul>
<li>building and deploying statistical forecasting models</li>
<li>machine learning, neural networks, or generative AI including LLMs</li>
<li>data collection via APIs or web scraping</li>
<li>domain expertise in one or more of the categories on Kalshi, such as:
<ul>
<li>sports</li>
<li>crypto</li>
<li>financials</li>
<li>economics</li>
<li>weather</li>
