Head of Finance at Turnkey

<p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your role</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As the Head of Finance at Turnkey, you will own and lead the finance function end-to-end, partnering closely with the COO, CEO, and executive team to ensure the company’s financial foundation scales with the business. You will be the senior financial leader responsible for building durable, audit-ready systems while also acting as a strategic thought partner—translating complex financial realities into clear guidance for decision-making.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a hands-on builder role for a seasoned operator who is excited to design finance for a fast-growing, usage-based infrastructure company. You’ll balance rigor with speed, bringing structure where it matters most while enabling Turnkey to move quickly, invest confidently, and grow responsibly.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the end-to-end finance function at Turnkey, including accounting, FP&amp;A, tax, audit, and compliance</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and formalize controllership processes appropriate for a venture-backed company</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Oversee and optimize relationships with outsourced accounting, tax, audit, and advisory partners</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage and mentor existing finance talent, including a strong FP&amp;A / strategic finance lead</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own budgeting, forecasting, and operating models, translating financial data into business insights</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain financial governance, controls, and audit readiness as the company scales</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Oversee Turnkey’s usage-based billing and invoicing infrastructure, partnering with Product and Engineering</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Evaluate, implement, and improve finance systems and tooling (ERP, billing, reporting)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Anticipate future needs related to compliance, tax, and financial risk — and proactively prepare for them</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prior experience leading finance at a Series C or later stage startup or scaleup</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong background in controllership and operational finance (hands-on or closely adjacent)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience managing audits, tax strategy, and regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort operating in complex billing environments; usage-based or consumption models strongly preferred</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track record of building or modernizing finance processes and systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em
