Our core product is TITAN: an Impedance Matched Marx Generator (IMG). TITAN is the most efficient and powerful (TW) machine of its kind. Fusers have built and licensed Magical Unicorn and FAETON I, 2 novel pulsed power generators.<br />You are joining an early-stage fusion company. Please expect to wear different hats and take 0 to 1 ownership of objectives. Changing the world is hard but honorable and fulfilling. You should expect to work extremely hard to make a dent. This is not a regular job. Fusers are on a mission to change the world and get shit done.<br /></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As an Electrical Engineer at Fuse, you are building at the limit of what is possible and advancing pulsed power technology. We are looking for humble, creative, driven, and tenacious individuals ready to tackle the monumental challenge of fusion energy.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><br /><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1+ years' experience in schematic & layout design for PCB's using Altium designer or equivalent software(s)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1+ years' experience in simulating electronics circuits using Spice</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1+ years' proven experience in configuring and managing Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Knowledge of sensors and calibration techniques</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated experience working on a team and delivering results</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability and willingness for bi-coastal travel</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">C++ programming ability</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Additional requirements</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Must be able to travel and work extended hours/weekends as needed.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>ITAR Requirements</strong><br /><br />To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
