Job Description

Department: Marketing / Growth Reports to: Head of Marketing The Role, In One Line We're hiring someone who doesn't ask "what creative piece should I make?" . They ask "how do I make people care about this?" This is the person who turns a complex, often unsexy product into a story people understand, a campaign people remember, and creative that moves real growth metrics, not just engagement vanity numbers. What This Role Is Not This role gets misread often: It's not a Designer role. You won't be pushing pixels in Figma all day. It's not a Copywriter role. You won't just be writing headlines for someone else's idea. It's not a Brand Strategist role. You're not building 40-page brand guideline decks. This is a hybrid role for someone equally comfortable: Digging into user behavior and funnel data Translating positioning into an idea people actually feel Writing the concept Directing how it looks and moves Shaping how it shows up across a GTM campaign, end to end Why This Role Matters for Grvt Grvt isn't trying to out-market the incumbents by playing their game. We're a challenger brand, and challengers who play it safe don't get remembered. We've already proven the market believes in us: our TGE was a success, and the trust and capital that came with it isn't a finish line, but a runway. Now the job is to convert that momentum into global product adoption, fast, without losing the edge that got us here. That means we can't afford "the typical marketing", the safe positioning decks, the generic launch templates, the content that looks like everyone else's roadmap slide with our logo on it. This role exists because Grvt's next chapter isn't just "get more visible", but, to "get more visible in a way that compounds into the business numbers," globally, and fast. What You'll Do 1. Campaign Concepts Work with product marketing to develop the core creative idea behind product GTM strat and launches, feature drops, and growth campaigns. Infuse the thinking behind why this idea will land with this audience, into the strategy/creative. Turn positioning and messaging frameworks into concepts that are simple, sharp, and repeatable across channels. Pressure-test concepts against user behavior and funnel data before they go into production. Not just "is this a cool idea" but "will this idea change behavior." 2. Creative Direction Set the visual direction for campaigns across mood, tone, art direction briefs and partner closely with designers/illustrators/agencies to bring it to life. Ensure every visual choice ladders back to the strategic idea, not just aesthetic trend-chasing. Conceptualize motion and video concepts from short-form social edits to product demo reels to launch films with a bias toward ideas that work with a fast scroll-thumb, not against it. 3. Launch Themes Work with marketing to develop the "big idea" that a product or feature launch is built around. The theme that ties together the landing page, the ads, the emails, the social posts, and th
