Corporate Paralegal at Paxos

For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like Mastercard, Visa, Robinhood, and PayPal.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our Legal team and help us scale a world-class, tech-forward legal function that matches the ambition and complexity of our products and partners.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>As a Paralegal, you’ll get to:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Use cutting-edge AI tools to support a technology-forward legal team and streamline contracting, research, and operations.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Negotiate various commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and vendor agreements, ensuring Paxos’s interests are protected while enabling the business to move quickly.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage legal entity formation and governance, and become an expert on Paxos’s international corporate structure (including maintaining corporate records, board and shareholder consents, and related governance documents).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain and build out the company’s legal operations function, including improving templates, workflows, playbooks, and systems to increase efficiency and reduce risk.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Procurement) to support commercial, corporate, and operational initiatives.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help drive process improvements across the legal team by identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and following through to implementation. </p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>About you</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">2+ years of law firm paralegal experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working on corporate and transactional matters, including drafting and reviewing legal agreements and related documentation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working cross-functionally on multiple projects under tight deadlines, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment, with the ability to adapt as priorities and business needs evolve.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent written and verbal communica
