<p style="min-height:1.5em">We are seeking a highly motivated and business-minded <strong>Commercial Counsel</strong> to join our legal team and play a critical role in advancing Blockdaemon’s mission by navigating the evolving legal landscape of blockchain infrastructure. In this role, you will advise on complex commercial transactions, partner closely with business teams, and help scale legal operations for a fast-growing global technology company operating at the forefront of blockchain innovation.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You’ll play a key role in shaping how we structure partnerships, deliver products, and engage with customers across the digital asset ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who thrives in dynamic, emerging industries and enjoys balancing legal precision with commercial practicality.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those on the East Coast.</em><br /><br /><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, vendor, and partnership contracts.</p></li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Advise sales, business development, and product teams on contract structures, risk allocation, and compliance matters.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Provide legal guidance on go-to-market initiatives and product launches in regulated technology environments.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and scalable legal processes.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including finance, compliance, and operations — to streamline deal execution and mitigate risk.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Stay current on evolving regulations impacting digital assets, financial services, and technology transactions.<br /></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">J.D. from an accredited law school with active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.</p></li></ul><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">7 - 10 years of experience in commercial or technology transactions, ideally combining both law firm and in-house experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and evolving Web3 regulatory frameworks.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong business judgment with a pragmatic approach to balancing legal risk and operational efficiency in a fast-scaling organization.</p></l
